 About the teacher:Kathy Bingaman has been a pediatric Occupational Therapist for over 20 years, specializing in working with children with sensory processing disorders. For the last three years, her greatest joy has been teaching Funsical Fitness preschool movement classes in preschool and daycare settings. She has presented professional workshops and trainings at various local, state and national conferences and she has participated in several research projects through CSU. Level 1–Mighty Mice (2 - 4 yrs) Monday 9:30am-10:15am (Jan.19-Feb.9) The primary goals for this first level are to engage children through simple music, basic instructions and primary movement patterns to coordinate the basic core muscle groups and enhance listening skills and self control. Children will learn to move their body to unique songs while being different pets, modes of transportation, zoo animals and workers. (This is a drop off class- as always parents are welcome to stay and watch or go relax in the play center!) Cost is $45.

The primary goals for this level are to enhance all phases of spatial intelligence, develop concentration abilities and gross motor control through more advanced music, language and movement patterns. Children will move and sing while using their imaginations to go to the jungle and ocean, ride a train, and march in a parade! (This is a drop off class- as always parents are welcome to stay and watch or go relax in the play center!) Cost is $45. |
